Accent Polka Dots

Good Morning All

I've been a little (or alot) absent lately.  I've found that there has been so much going on that I really have not had time to devote to my nails or blog.  A change is coming though.  Although I have been doing my nails they just have not been interesting.  I had a sort of epiphany last night.  Instead of changing all my nails everyday or every other day I could just change one.  I've decided a great way to do this is by just changing an accent nail.  It's a great time saver and I can still have fun and enjoy a new look everyday.

So without further a due here is my first accent nail with Gosh's 'Lamada'.  Tomorrow hopefully I will have another for you!
My computer is still not working which leaves me only my camera to take pictures.  It's very frustrating for me because I'm not a fan of the pictures.  Hopefully within a month I can get that darn computer up and working again

I'm Still Here!

I'm back!!! It's been nearly a month.  To be quite honest I didn't even realize it was that long. The month of December is always so so busy.  The mani I have for you today is from the vault. I have been doing my nails but unfortunately I can't get my pictures on the computer. My power cord is dead and I need a replacement.

Hope you enjoy this old mani.  I just wanted to pop in and say I haven't gone anywhere.  Hopefully I can get my computer fixed soon

Inspired by a Christmas Decoration

Hi Strangers!

Nothing to fancy for you today. I was looking around at my Christmas decorations and this little guy caught my eye.  I knew it wouldn't be too difficult so I gave it a go!  Hope you all like!

I'd like to apologize....yet again for the lack of posts.  Come December 27th I'm sure I'll be back up and running.  This month is always full of the crazies

Buddy The Elf, what's your favourite colour?

I'd like to start off with saying I have already watched Elf twice.  It has to be my favourite Christmas movie. Will Ferrell is hilarious in it!  So obviously I had to do mani based on him.  I've actually seen quite a few around the blogisphere and Pinterest. This is my version :)

I wish he had stripped tights like most elves but no such luck.  I was able to recreate the gold stitching on his jacket with one of my Cheeky plates.  These plates do not have numbers. All I know it's one of six jumbo size plates.  I waited nearly 2 months to get them in then didn't use them for another week. I was kind of pissy they took so long

Hope you all enjoy and make sure to watch Elf at least one time this Christmas season.

Christmas Ornament Inspired Nails

Hey Buddies!

I have my first Christmas nails for you.  Although I'm not a big red with green fan I knew I had to do at least one.  I decided to use an ornament for my inspiration.  This is the only red and green ornament I have on my tree so it was not a difficult decision.

The full nail is in Julep's 'Delaunay'.  Its a beautiful rich red creme that unfortunately is almost gone :(.  The gold is Quo by Orly's 'Filthy Rich'.  This bottle is also getting pretty low. I think a new one will be required soon especially during the holiday season. I then used some green glitter to recreate the sequins on the ornaments.

Last mani before the Xmas nails began...

A Happy Friday to you all!

It's been a couple days.  Tis the season though. I'm soooo excited to put up the Christmas tree tomorrow.  It's a pre lit Christmas tree so it can be a pain plugging in to the proper parts.  It has a bunch of different functions so if you don't get it in to the right socket it does not work properly. I've tried labelling them but it still gets screwy.  I plan on assembling tonight then decorating tomorrow. The last thing I want is to get all pissed off and crazy. This combined with the dogs trying to steal ornaments will drive me nuts.

Anywhoo enough about my upcoming frustrations and excitement. Today I have none other than a dotted manicure.  Nothing too fancy but the dots calm me.  Tomorrow is the first so start expecting Christmas nails!!!  YIPEEEEE!!!

Safari Chic Dots

Well hello strangers!!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine consisted of some Christmas decorating which also involved crafting a few decorations.  I forgot to take some pictures but I will definitely do that soon.  I also had my nephews 2nd birthday party to go to.  It was a jammed pack weekend of to-dos!

These nails were done on Thursday or Friday night. I really can't recall do to all the craziness.  For the full nails I used L'Oreals 'Safari Chic' which is a beautiful army green colour.  I used a swipe or two of Essence Black on the tips.  It didn't look right so I added a few glitter dots by Quo.
