Urban Stamped

It's Friday!!!! You know the best way to start a Friday???......getting a text from your boss saying 'take a snow day'.  Yippeeee. I started to sing a song called 'I love my boss'.

Today I have something simple but fun. I decided to just stamp my thumb this time. Mostly because this stamp would not fit on my ring finger.  I really like the look though.  It reminds me of when everyone use to wear thumb rings.  Very weird comparison but that's what it made me think of :)

The polish is two coats of Revlon's 'Urban'.  It said new shade on the bottle but how new I do not know.  Its almost like a navy purple.  I love it!  The stamp is BM214 from Bundle Monster.  Everyone kept asking if it was a sticker.  That's when you know you did a good job

Have a great weekend !

Accent Black

Woop Woop its Fridayyyyy!

It feels so weird not posting everyday. Although its good for getting other things done during this busy season I feel I'm missing out. I don't get to see every ones beautiful nails and ideas.  One more month and that will change though

Today I have something simple for you. I'm not sure if I like it though.  It may just be the colour that is not working for me.  I've been wanting to try this stamp from Bundle Monster BM225  for awhile. Not just because its pretty but very intimidating.  I'm proud to say that I got it on my first try though.

Now that I'm done my post I'm coming to see yours!

From the Vault!!!

Yayyyy Friday!

Quick post today.  I'm back to work and actually have work to do! Shocking!

Today I have a stamped manicure for you.  If the stamp looks familiar it's because I've used it before.  This actually is a vault mani.  As you know I haven't been able to do my nails much lately but I see that turning around soon despite my short nubbies I'm sporting now.
All I know about this mani is the purple is Revlon's 'Posh'.  It's still my go to purple.

Glitta Waves

I'd like to start off with a sorry to my fellow challengers.  Water marble is not going to happen today.  Hopefully I will have it sometime this week but time and sun has not allowed me to do it.

Instead I have a marblish type mani.  The stamp kind of gives that impression.  I started off with a blue base. Which one???...I have no clue. I do know however that it is the darker of the two colours.  The stamp is Bundle Monster BM205.  I used Sally Hansen's Insta Dri in 'Brisk Blue'.  I'd also like to point out that for once I didn't have to redo any nails!! Yahoo!!
I was kind of bored so I decided to add some glitter.  I used one of my many bottles I bought at Michael's.  I find strategically placing glitter is relaxing. Even though its fiddly I find it fun.  I wouldn't wear something like this myself but its so fun to do.

I had a second photo but when uploading it half the thing was grey.  Maybe another time :oP

Peace out folks!

Stamped Chevron Tips

Well here I am sitting in my bedroom while all the boys hoop and holler at the TV.  I'm not a fan of Sunday football.  I'm going to take the opportunity to have a little fun and figure out pinterest and instagram.  I'm not too sure how I feel about instagram yet because I don't take nail pictures with my phone.  Seems like a lot of effort to send them to my phone then post. I could just be lazy though

On to the nails.  I wanted to do something with red and grey and this was the outcome.  I used two coats of Rimmel's 'Red Stilleto'.  I then taped off the chevron tip and painted with a no name Gosh grey. I then stamped with Bundle Monster BM203. I'm sure I used a Gosh polish for this as well.  I find most of the cream polishes work great for stamping.

Gunta Stamping

Hey Peeps!

Once again I have no half moon nails for you.  I hope I can get some pictures in tonight and post tomorrow.  Galaxy is Saturday which I'm so excited about.

So instead I have a little more vault action. These were only done about 2 weeks ago.  I had a lot of fun with them but was a little to quick with the top coat.  I always get so frustrated after doing a nice stamping job and screwing it up because I'm impatience.

I started off what I imagine to be Essie's 'Yogaga' as a base.  Then I used Julep's 'Gunta' to stamp Bundle Monster plate BM322.  I have to say that 'Gunta' is an amazing polish to stamp with.  This is my fav polish of the moment. I love it in every which way.  I then taped off my nails in a chevron shape(this was quite awhile after letting the stamp and top coat dry).  Using 'Gunta' again I filled in the designated areas :o)

Top coated it and voila

Stamped Graple Marble Dots

I had no idea what the post title should be for this.  The only thing that came to mind was Stamped Graple Marble Dots!  I bet this name hasn't been used before.

For this look I used about five different purple polishes.  Basically its just dots on top of dots on top of dots.  I used stamp BM-203 from my new stamping plates I purchased from Nail Polish Canada.  I'm so happy they sell Bundle Monster now.  I'm considering to ask Nail Polish Canada to go steady ;)

I topped it off with my first bottle of Seche Vite top coat(also purchased at Nail Polish Canada).  I really like the effect that came out.  Kind of looks like purple marble to me.

31 Day Challenge: Delicate print

Is it possible to do a 31 Day Challenge switcheroo?  As  I'm getting ready to post this I'm thinking my flower nails would be better as delicate and these for flowers.  Oh well I like to keep things caarazy!!!

I really like these two colours together for fall. The full nail is in Essie's 'Gym Dandy' and the flowers are stamped with Bundle Monster BM313.  I used Gosh 'Berry M .....'(sticker covering the name. That's the best I could make out) . I'm loving the quality of Gosh for stamping. I highly suggest trying them out

Peace out!

Green Giraffe

When picking out this stamp and the colours I figured I wouldn't be a fan of the end result.  Wrong-o!!!

I was shocked by how cool it looked.  Not to mention who wouldn't want to be a green giraffe!!  I guess you never really know until you try something. I've picked colours that I thought would look great together and they ended up being blahhh.  These nails are something I could wear to work.  It's not too in your face but still very fun.

I used Essie's 'Gym Dandy' for the base.  This is one of the $1.99 clearance polishes I picked up from the Yogaga collection.  The stamp is Bundle Monster  BM313.  I've found that quite a few of Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure polishes work great for stamping.  This is 'Grass Slipper'

What do you guys think? Not for everyone but I think its fun

Whimsical Clouds

Happy Sunday!  I'm spending the afternoon/evening in my room :os.  It's back to football Sundays so I try to stay away.  I'm good with hockey but football is a snooze fest.

On Friday I got in my Bundle Monster plates.  I see people using them more than Konad now so I had to try them out.  I also bought a brush and dotter set.  Mostly for the case but I'm loving everything in it as well

For the full nail I used the exact same polish as I did here. I love Revlon Whimsical but it can be a pain.  The clouds are from plate number BM312

I tried a couple other plates. Some good, some not so good.  You will be seeing more soon....
