From the Vault!!!

Yayyyy Friday!

Quick post today.  I'm back to work and actually have work to do! Shocking!

Today I have a stamped manicure for you.  If the stamp looks familiar it's because I've used it before.  This actually is a vault mani.  As you know I haven't been able to do my nails much lately but I see that turning around soon despite my short nubbies I'm sporting now.
All I know about this mani is the purple is Revlon's 'Posh'.  It's still my go to purple.

31 Day Challenge: Inspired by Fashion

Hi All!

I feel like I've been neglecting my blog......or should I say others.  After such a rough weekend I've been all over the place but things are finally going back to normal. No more seizures!!!  I have many of your blogs to catch up on.  I'll have all day at work tomorrow to do that ;)

I lucked out with this design.  Not just because I had a stamp of it but also a shirt.  I thought this design was called herringbone but apparently not.  Any body else know?

I don't have the plate number on me right now but it is Bundle Monster and hopefully I will remember to add it later

Born Pretty Review: Double Sided Stamper and Water Decals

Hi All

I'm slowly coming around and getting back to my normal self.  I'm very tired (and disappointed) though.  Oh well c'est lat vie!

Today I have another Born Pretty review for you.  I chose to test both the double sided stamp with scraper and butterfly water decals.

I'm happy to say the double sided stamper worked wonderfully. I did have to rough it up a bit first with my emery board.  The scraper I chose not to use.  I prefer using an old gift card to prevent scratching my plates.

I was a little quick to apply the top coat as seen on my middle finger.  This had nothing to do with the stamp though

The butterfly water decals took a little more skills.  It took me a couple tries to get it just right.  With time and practice I'm sure it will get easier. As you can see I this one is not a butterfly but it is from the same sheet.

Pardon the pictures.  I had to take these inside. Does anyone have any more tips as far as taking indoor pictures? I've made my light box but the pictures still look like very bad quality. Drives me nuts

Born Pretty review: Stamping plate M69

Hi All!

Review day!  Daisy Lee from Born Pretty asked me to review some product for her.  I chose stamping plate M69 (you can check it out here). I'm a lover of stamping and this first stamp was calling out my name.

I tested all of the stamps right away and the quality was top notch.  This first picture is what I had in mind even before receiving the plate. I should of used a different polish for stamping though. It was not as bright as I was planning on it to be.   I still love the look of it though, especially with the hint of glitter in the background.

Here is another I had a little fun with ;)
